Life in the Paint

Welcome to my "Life in the Paint".  I hope you enjoy browsing my website and finding favorite images.  I started painting over twenty five years ago, first in watercolors and now in oils.  Painting is such a pleasure in my life and I can't imagine not being able to create.  You will notice the many different sights that call to me and insist I paint them.   The world is filled with quiet beauty for which I am thankful in these challenging times.  Whether it is a landscape, still life, floral or figure, my goal is to capture the essence of the scene and share the beauty around us.  Beauty is lasting.  It is free.  It is healing.  Surround yourself with beauty.

I am represented by two fine art galleries on the West Coast, Gallery at Marina Square in Morro Bay, CA., and Art and Soul Ashland in Ashland, OR.  I may also exhibit work in other fine art shows and juried exhibitions.
